Vacuum ball valve

The valve is installed at the highest point of the dredger deck’s discharge line to prevent vacuum formation that could damage the dredging equipment.

Under normal conditions, the ball seals the outlet pipe and keeps air out. If a vacuum occurs, the ball falls onto a grid, allowing air to enter the T-pipe and neutralize the vacuum
